Whiskey Night House Warming Party

The new space that Visions Management calls home was filled with Team members, friends, family members and acquaintances for a night of Seven Stills Whiskey and Tcho Chocolate.

Amy Garber and the rest of Visions Management moved into the space in January and immediately realized that the attached "speak-easy" style bar needed to be utilized.  The food was prepared by the whole team and managed by Kara Marvin.  Director of Operations head Kelli McKusker made sure the night went off without a hitch and supplied the killer tunes as well.

New Director of Business Development Britt Esser orchestrated the whiskey and chocolate pairing with help from Luke Bair and Stephen Obert.

The space will be used for future events, local SF Bay area sales meetings and company meetings for the whole team.

Visions Attends NeoCon 2016

Visions Management attended Neocon 2016 held from June 12-14 at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago. NeoCon has evolved into one of the most recognized and attended trade shows in the industry and this year was no exception.

Members of Visions Management team included Principal Owner, Amy Garber, Director of Business Development, Britt Esser, and Project Manager, Kara Marvin.

"NeoCon is so very important in the design industry.  The show is the very essence of design, especially in this digital era, being able to break out of the “trade show” boundaries and spend valuable time networking." - Amy Garber

The show has remained focused on being at the forefront of changing commercial design and business trends.

Partners of Visions Mgmt such as VCO, Workrite, Sitonit, and Palace Office Interiors mingled together throughout the 2 day excursion.

Teknion, West Elm Office and Allsteel showrooms were this year's favorites among the Visions team as was Richard Pollack's presentation on Building a Sustainable Business Development
Culture in Your Firm.

Visions Management's Top Five Reasons to attend Neocon:

5. Who doesn't love Chicago in June
4. You can definitely beat your friends and family at home on number of steps walked in a day
3. Your creativity will be inspired
2. Knowledge of furniture, design and everyday work habits will expand
1. The power of networking

"As a move manager I get the privilege of seeing a variety of work spaces, meeting all kinds of people and experiencing every kind of corporate culture imaginable.

Some clients have a quiet, more conservative environment whereas some are colorful, casual and creative.  The latter usually allows employees to wear flip-flops, ride scooters inside their space and, of course, bring their dogs to work.  But one particular client let their employees take it to a new level.  There were the usual number of dogs tethered to individual’s desks but it wasn’t until I encountered a pig, yes a pig, that I had to stop in my tracks, whip out my phone and capture the moment.  Coincidentally I had Bentley with me and he couldn’t make heads-or-pig-tails out of what this 4-legged creature was." - Lisa Lundquist
